Folklore Ltd. is a Kenyan production company based in Nairobi.

Founded with the vision of becoming a leading firm in the media consulting and content creation industry, we offer dynamic and creative support throughout the entire production process and aidrm to give our clients the highest quality experience from concept to delivery.

Creative direction

We transform our client's vision into high-quality content by developing the overall story, mood, tone, look, and feel of the project while accompanying them through the entire creative process.

Content creation

We source cast and crew, scout locations, and coordinate travel and field logistics during production. We also own Netflix-standardized camera equipment, professional drones, a 4- person podcasting setup, and a state-of-the-art editing suite.

Post-production

With access to the most skilled personnel and the most modern range of equipment for all post-production work, we are well-suited to handle editing, colour correction, sound design and mixing, music scoring, and packaging content for all distribution formats.

Film Agent Services & Drone Licensing and Approvals

As licensed film agents, you can apply for a KFCB film license through us. You can also apply for KCAA drone licensing and flying approval for the Kenyan and East African regions through us.
